Really, am I ever going to be done with this project?

In the last week our landscaping has been completed, or as completed as it can right now. We are still missing a few plants but that's because they just aren't available yet. I was able to, with the help of my mom, get almost everything purchased and installed today. We had Hawk's do all the hard work like the service path, prepare the beds, brickwork and re-grate the lawn. Brian and I were left with a huge pile of mulch and to install all the perennials. Here is what everything looked like a week ago and what it looks like now!

I do have to admit, we were a bit surprised to see the re-grating. I guess I thought the yard 10 or so feet from the house would be repaired. That apparently wasn't the case! While this is somewhat an inconvenience for the boys since they can't play in the back yard anymore (hmmm...much like last summer) I know that once the grass grows the yard will be great.

The NARI Home Remodeling Tour is this weekend and our house is almost ready! While the people won't be visiting our house to see the yard, I feel much better about how things look now. It actually looks like we are done!
