At the beginning of the day we just had a platform and now look at the progress!
Hanging out in our new kitchen...imagine Brian in front of the new island and next to the sink. That "pole" won't be there in the end, it's just holding up the skeleton of a roof.
Well that's not fair - you are supposed to wait for 6 weeks during the rainy fall weather, while Joe SBC and Fred We Energies and Tom Time Warner try and coordinate a utility burial date, before you put up any walls!!
We didn't bury the lines...I was afraid it would disrupt the drainage tile on one side of the property, the brick work under the pergola and/or *the biggest deal of all* the beloved sandbox.
Now that I think of it - TW never showed up here at all. Since we don't use any of their services we 'buried' their cable by wrapping it around the old utility pole.

One more thing...Time Warner did take their sweet time coming out here and still hasn't caulked up their holes in the walls of our foundation.
It's all so speedy! It's like the bizarro version of your garage experience.
